The A80 is equipped with a ribbon tweeter housed in a horn design, similar to the one found in the A100. This tweeter’s finely crafted aluminum ribbon diaphragm offers a broad frequency range, remarkable clarity, and a quick transient response. Its high sensitivity contributes to superior sound imaging, resulting in a rich and immersive three-dimensional audio experience where every nuance stands out.

This mid-woofer features a 4.5-inch anodized aluminum alloy cone, supported by a robust and rigid cast magnesium alloy frame. The oversized 30mm voice coil, larger than those found in typical speakers of this size, allows for improved heat dissipation, reducing power compression. The result is a more dynamic and lifelike sound, delivering a realistic musical experience with enhanced clarity and detail.

Crafted from durable 18-mm thick MDF with an elegant walnut veneer, the A80’s cabinet is engineered to minimize sound coloration. Inside, professional-grade waved sound absorption material lines the interior to enhance acoustic performance. Additionally, the oval-shaped vent tube is meticulously designed to reduce wind noise, ensuring a clear and refined audio output.

The A80 system offers a range of input options, including Bluetooth, AUX, PC, USB, and optical fiber connections. Featuring a Bluetooth audio receiver powered by Qualcomm's Bluetooth V5.0 chipset, it supports the APT-X decoder for superior audio playback quality, significantly surpassing the performance of standard Bluetooth SBC codecs.

At the heart of the A80's digital system is the XMOS XU216, a 16-core processor based on the xCore200 architecture, capable of delivering up to 2000 MIPS of processing power. The amplification system utilizes two TAS5754 Class-D amplifiers from Texas Instruments, ensuring ultra-low output jitter. This configuration allows the audio signal to be transmitted to the XMOS processor with zero loss, resulting in precise, high-fidelity sound reproduction with minimal distortion.

The A80 features TRANSPARENT audiophile-grade speaker cables, made in the USA, for its internal wiring. These premium cables ensure signal transmission with exceptional accuracy and minimal loss, bringing you closer to the true essence of the music.
